This project is a large scale installation that composites a 3 channel video signal into a recontextualized moving-image. This examination of the power relations between the body and the illness offers a real-time processing experience using Max5 software. Based on an algorithmic equation, images are derived randomly out of their sequence from 3 separate videos and merged into 1 out-sourcing composite. This project is intended to play with the logic of recontextualization, representation, expression and the politics of aesthetics through algorithmic design.
